In a major announcement, VSCO said that its iPhone camera app, Capture, will now be available worldwide after being released in limited quantities to users in Australia, New Zealand, and Ireland in June.

The app offers a variety of features, such as more than 50 presets, real-time effects, and manual control over camera functions, and is centred around taking photos with a particular aesthetic.

Users can take RAW and ProRAW photos with Capture and sync them with VSCO's cloud via the VSCO app. Nevertheless, the Capture app does not allow users to upload images directly.

Additionally, VSCO has purchased The Freelance Photographer, a website that offers workshops for photographers and videographers.

The VSCO's CEO, Eric Wittman, stated that: "there is a clear gap in the market for business education and industry-specific guidance for emerging photography professionals who are looking to secure sustainable client relationships."

A basic coaching plan costs $208 per month, while a premium plan with personal mentoring costs $625 per month.

Additionally, the Freelance Photographer offers a variety of courses. Following the introduction of VSCO Hub, VSCO Sites, and VSCO Canvas, VSCO is attempting to reach professional photographers with this acquisition.

It is anticipated that this change will strengthen VSCO's standing in the photography sector by giving users access to a wide range of tools and resources to hone their abilities and exhibit their work.

Users can use Capture's features to take and edit high-quality photos now that it is available everywhere.
