Canva unveils 'Dream Lab': New era of AI-driven design with advanced features

Canva has introduced “Dream Lab,” derived from Canva’s acquisition of generative artificial intelligence AI startup Leonardo.ai at the start of the year.

Dream Lab brings a plethora of striking artificial intelligence (AI) features to its web-based design platform, including significant upgrades for creating text and video effects, and an impressive text-to-image app.

Dream Lab lets users generate images from descriptions in several styles such as “3D render” and “Illustration.” However, Canva already has its native Stable Diffusion-based AI image generator and hosts multiple other third-party apps, but the latest Dream Lab has brought several significant enhancements to the platform.

Furthermore, Canva has brought several updates to its broader “Magic” AI tool suite, including enhanced accuracy and one-click autocomplete commands for the Magic Write text generation feature, and more tailored to cater for the unique requirements and expectations of users.
