Pakistani low-cost airline Fly Jinnah has announced the expansion of its international operations by launching a new direct flight route between Islamabad and Riyadh.
Starting from March 30, 2025, the airline will operate daily non-stop flights between Islamabad International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
Strengthening Pakistan-Saudi Arabia Connectivity
The new route is Fly Jinnah's move to increase travel options between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to meet the rising demand for air travel between the two nations.
This expansion will be of advantage to tourists, pilgrims, and business owners by offering an economical and easier means of travel.
Fly Jinnah is a joint venture between Pakistan's Lakson Group and the UAE-based Air Arabia Group. The airline was approved for international operations in October 2023 and has been gradually expanding its footprint in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region ever since.
Fly Jinnah growing network in Saudi Arabia
Fly Jinnah has already launched several direct flights between major Pakistani cities and Saudi Arabia. Recently, the airline introduced non-stop services from Lahore to Dammam, Riyadh, and Jeddah.
A spokesperson for Fly Jinnah stated: “We are committed to offering affordable and reliable travel options while strengthening cultural and economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. This new route reflects our mission to enhance connectivity and accessibility for our passengers.”
Fly Jinnah currently operates a fleet of six Airbus A320 aircraft and serves key domestic destinations, including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta. Additionally, the airline runs double daily flights between Sharjah and Lahore as part of its expanding international network.
