Instagram is reportedly experimenting a new capability for the recently introduced Restyle feature that allows you to add, remove, or change elements in an image or video with a text prompt.

According to a Mashable report, the Meta-owned social media platform is planning to add custom text to the Restyle feature, as the company has begun testing the feature with a small group of users. The Restyle feature will allow users to generate custom fonts based on natural language prompts.

Users are expected to get a couple of built-in presets for the feature, such as Chrome and Balloon. You can also write a text prompt to generate unique and quirky styles.

Powered by Meta AI, the feature is currently available in Stories and within the Edits app. It offers users a similar level of inline editing as the Nano Banana.

It should be noted that Instagram has yet to officially announce the update for its Restyle feature.
