Meezan Bank has become the first bank in the country to roll out Visa’s Global eSIM, a cutting-edge digital connectivity solution for Visa Infinite Debit Cardholders who frequently travel abroad.
Introduced by Visa, the world leader in digital payments, the Visa Global eSIM allows international travelers to connect to mobile networks worldwide without needing a physical SIM card.
Users can instantly switch carriers and activate international data plans directly on their devices, eliminating the hassle of buying local SIMs or relying on unsecured Wi-Fi networks.
Supported by Visa’s backend infrastructure and wide device compatibility, the service promises convenience and security for users on the go.
Benefits for Meezan Bank customers
As part of this launch, eligible Meezan Bank Visa Infinite Debit Cardholders will receive:
- Up to 3GB of complimentary high-speed data for 21 days across 150+ countries
- 25% discount on additional top-up purchases beyond the free allocation
This integration makes Meezan Bank the first Pakistani bank to offer a global roaming eSIM service directly linked to a premium debit card.
