Days after the devastation of multiple telecom sites because of the recent floods in KP, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) announced on Sunday that over 72% of the affected telecom sites have been restored.

The telecom authority has been in active collaborations with other telecommunication services to restore mobile networks in the areas that were severly impacted.

The PTA also confirmed that all possible measures have been implemented to ensure services remain reinstated in KP's flood-stricken areas.

Similarly, it was also reported by the telecom regulator that mobile operators are providing free on-net voice calls to users in these regions.

It's worth noting that affectees across KP can access emergency services and maintain contact with their families, even with no balance in their SIM cards. This initiative has been brought about to support those affected by the floods and ensure they remain connected during this testing time.
