Motorola announced AI features for its phones at the Lenovo Tech World 2024 conference on October 15. The company's moto ai suite is constructed to personalise user interaction to streamline regular tasks.
moto ai by Motorola
Moto ai is a device that is powered by a Large Action Model (LAM), which makes devices understand users' surroundings and is capable of taking orders from natural languages.
This allows users to order a coffee, hail a ride, and so on with ease. Motorola first launched its AI assistant at the 2023 Lenovo Tech World conference and has since developed it further.
Upcoming Motorola moto ai features
Motorola showcased several upcoming moto ai features, including:
- Natural language commands for everyday tasks (e.g., ordering coffee, requesting rides)
- "Catch Me Up" for summarising personal communications
- "Pay Attention" for recalling conversation details
- "Remember This" for capturing live moments and generating context
The implementation of moto ai would thus minimise activities like a wake-up call, ordering coffee or a playlist. User feedback would be the key to extending the functionality of moto ai’s capabilities.

Also, there are major successes in feature integrations with Google that include Moto Magic Canvas and Style Sync.
When will moto ai be available?
Moto ai is set to be launched in a beta testing stage by the end of this year and will only be accessible through invites. Motorola expects users to give their responses to enrich the abilities of the AI assistant.
Improvements are likely to come to moto ai, moulding the functionalities to be more user-friendly and easily accessible for users.
