An important update to the Pak ID mobile application has been announced by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), which is expected to completely transform how citizens use its services.

The new feature, which is anticipated to launch soon, will allow users to schedule appointments directly through the app at NADRA Registration Centres (NRCs).

Additionally, by expediting the ID card and associated service application process, this development seeks to lessen wait times and crowding at service locations.

"The Pak ID app will function as a comprehensive digital gateway by allowing citizens to reserve time slots at various mega and regional centres," according to the announcement made by NADRA's official communication channels.

Through the upgrade, citizens will be able to book appointments, check available slots, receive confirmations, and avoid long queues and delays.

Notably, 43 NRCs nationwide, including major cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, Gilgit, Skardu, Gawadar, and Diamir, will get the feature in Phase I.

As part of NADRA's drive for more effective digital services, users are encouraged to update their Pak ID app in order to use the new feature once it goes live.

You can download the Pak ID app from the App Store and Google Play.
