
Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy Book 4 series of laptops, following the launch of Intel’s Meteor Lake processors on 14 December. The new laptops will be powered by Intel Core Ultra chipsets, which are claimed to support offline AI functions.
The Galaxy Book 4 series will include five models: Galaxy Book 4, Galaxy Book 4 360, Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro, Galaxy Book 4 Pro, and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra.
Galaxy Book 4: The base model
The Galaxy Book 4 is likely to be the most affordable model in the lineup, featuring a 15.6-inch full-HD LED screen, an Intel Core Ultra 5 120U processor, 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and Intel graphics. The laptop will run on Windows 11 and have a USB 3.2 port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one HDMI, a microSD card reader, and a combined port for headphones or microphone.
Galaxy Book 4 360 and Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro: The convertible models
The Galaxy Book 4 360 and Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro are expected to have a 360-degree hinge and pen support, making them suitable for versatile use cases. They will also feature anti-reflective AMOLED displays, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and LPDDR5 RAM.

The Galaxy Book 4 360 will have a 13.3-inch full-HD screen, an Intel Core Ultra 5 120U processor, and Intel graphics. The Galaxy Book 4 360 Pro will have a 14-inch QHD screen, an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor, and Intel Arc graphics.
Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra: The premium models
The Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Galaxy Book 4 Ultra will be the top-end models in the series, offering high-performance and gaming capabilities. They will also have AMOLED displays, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and LPDDR5 RAM.
The Galaxy Book 4 Pro will have a 15.6-inch QHD screen, an Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor, and Intel Arc graphics. The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra will have a 16-inch QHD+ screen, an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor, and an Nvidia GeForce 4070 GPU.
The Galaxy Book 4 series will debut as a sequel to the Galaxy Book 3 series, which was launched in February 2023. Samsung has not yet confirmed any details regarding the launch of the new devices.
However, according to past leaks, the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event will take place in San Jose, US on 17 January 2024, where Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy S24 series.
