Mental health literacy is substantially low throughout the continent and it's a stigma with great obstacles. However, TikTok made amazing efforts and commemorated World Mental Health Day along with National Cyber Bullying Awareness Month in October in collaboration with Headspace, a leading mindful app and came up with a groundbreaking campaign “#MentalHealthAwareness - Better Together.”
The campaign objective is to spread maximum awareness to enlighten mental health issues, fostering digital literacy and a secure digital realm. TikTok further accentuated its commitment towards the serious issue and ensured to invest in these kinds of progressive initiatives for mental health to support the communities.

Moreover, in collaboration with Headspace, TikTok announced to offer almost 20,000 global creators, including Pakistani creators, around six months of free access to the app, aiming to support content creators' mental well-being and create awareness for self-care as their paramount concern.
Head of Content Operations & Marketing in Pakistan at TikTok Saif Mujahid stated "Through our #MentalHealthAwareness campaign, we aim to encourage open conversations around mental health, and empower our community to prioritise their well-being."
Head of Consumer Partnerships and Distribution of Headspace Emma Nemtin stated: "Headspace is on a mission to make mental health support more accessible, approachable, and effective. By teaming up with TikTok on World Mental Health Day, we hope that creators feel empowered to take control of their mental well-being and turn to Headspace as a resource through all of life’s ups and downs."
The campaign is set to feature tremendous content which is likely to gain great attention regarding the promotion of self-care practices, obtaining healthy habits, motivating stories, and more.
Even if any of the users are interested in joining the conversation to encourage the entire TikTok community by using the hashtags #MentalHealthAwareness, #MentalHealthAtWork, #DigitalHifazat, and #SelfCare users would be able to connect with others, expanding the community and share their own life experiences to drive valuable information.
