Worldwide popular graphics and animation creativity platform Adobe has finally launched an exciting array of AI tools and updates for its flagship applications, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Lightroom, and Express, during its annual Max design conference.
The most standout offering is Adobe's Firefly AI platform, which has gained creative assistants that can generate soundtracks, voiceovers, and edit projects with simple text prompts.
On the other hand, Adobe Photoshop received the Generative Fill tool, which allows users to instantly modify images by generating or replacing objects and backgrounds using various AI models, including third-party options like Google’s Gemini 2.5.
Premiere Pro has also been revamped through AI tools that automate tedious editing tasks, streamlining the process of cutting and colour-correcting videos. Its new tools like Generate Soundtrack and Generate Speech are set to transform video production.
The Generate Soundtrack tool, currently in public beta, composes music in line with the video's tone and pacing, while Generate Speech creates realistic voiceovers from scripts.
Adobe Express, the user-friendly design platform, has obtained a new AI Assistant, letting users create or edit projects by simply typing their requests. This feature is believed to simplify content creation for users of all skill levels.

During the Max design conference, Adobe also previewed Project Moonlight, which is an AI-driven "creative director" that assists users in social media campaigns by generating visuals and copy tailored to users' brands.
