Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has officially announced a special 10% Azadi discount on all flights from Canada to Pakistan, offering overseas Pakistanis an opportunity to celebrate Independence Day with loved ones back home at reduced fares.
The Pakistan-based airplane authority revealed that this Azadi discount is a limited-time offer, valid for bookings made until July 31, 2025, covering travel from now until October 31, 2025.
The discount applies to both “Economy and Executive Economy classes," making it more budget-friendly for passengers across all travel categories.
The initiative is part of PIA’s ongoing effort to connect the diaspora community with Pakistan, particularly during the national holiday season.
With this move, PIA encourages early reservations to take advantage of the discounted seats, which are expected to sell quickly.
On the other hand, in a major development, PIA is preparing to resume direct flights to the United Kingdom, following a long pause due to previously imposed air safety restrictions.
Notably, British authorities have now cleared Pakistani carriers, paving the way for PIA’s UK operations to relaunch soon.
According to airline officials, the UK flight schedule is in its final stages of planning. Once finalised, it will “restore an important air link between Pakistan and Britain,” offering more options for travelers on both ends.
It is worth noting that these moves signal a strong comeback for the national carrier, which aims to rebuild trust and enhance connectivity for Pakistanis globally.
