Google TV Freeplay now offers 170 free channels, including holiday specials

Google TV has added a couple more channels for Freeplay, expanding its library from 170 free channels. Google TV Freeplay is one of the best ad-supported live-streaming platforms to spend some quality time. 

Except in the US, these channels are unavailable in other regions. Initially, Alphabet-owned Google rolled out up to 80 channels, but it has gradually grown a significant library.

Recently launched free channels on Google TV holidays

Following are the recently launched free channels in time for holidays available on Google TV:

2. Xumo Free Holiday Movie Channel
3. Xumo Free Holiday Classics
4. Xumo Christian Christmas
5. Continuum
6. Z Nation
7. The Design Network
8. Filmrise: Classic TV
9. UFC
10. Unbeaten
11. Big 12 Studios
12. Waypoint TV
13. PursuitUP

Additionally, Google has updated the following music channels for the holidays:

1. Stingray Greatest Holiday Hits
2. Stingray Soul Storm Christmas
3. Stingray Hot Country Christmas

Google TV offers almost 1,100 free channels with its partners in Plex, PlutoTV, and others, however, additional app installations are required.
