NADRA upgrades Pak-ID app for faster, more efficient services

In a major step to advance experience, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has upgraded its Pak-ID mobile application, incorporating several new enhanced features designed to provide better service.

NADRA revealed that the upgraded Pak-ID app not only saves citizens valuable time but also provides a range of services and critical information from the comfort of their homes.

Notably, the new version has been developed to make identity-related tasks simple, more efficient, and user-friendly.

Key advancements in the upgraded version of the Pak-ID app include:

  1. Real-time ID tracking capability
  2. Facial biometric verification at the initiation of an application
  3. No biometric requirement to view family members’ records
  4. Appointment booking for NADRA centres directly through the app
  5. A significantly advanced user interface for smoother navigation
  6. Overall ease of use and greater accessibility

NADRA stated: “Citizens are encouraged to update the Pak-ID mobile app on their smartphones immediately to benefit from the newly added features.”

Previously, NADRA released a streamlined online fee payment system, making it simple for Pakistani citizens—both at home and abroad—to apply for identity documents without the struggle of visiting NADRA centres.
