Netflix experienced a major service outage on Tuesday, impacting thousands of users across the United States (US). According to DownDetector, over 11,000 Netflix users have reported issues with the streaming service.

Numerous users reported problems such as login failures, black screens, and error messages stating, "We're having trouble accessing these titles for you right now. Please try again.”

On the other hand, some users reported partial restoration of service later in the evening, but full functionality remained elusive for many.

As of 9:30pm ET, Netflix had not issued an official statement or provided updates on its social media accounts.

The latest outage issue with Netflix comes almost three months after more than 70,000 individual complaints were reported across America in May 2025.

During that event, users received messages indicating that titles were "not available to watch instantly."

Currently, Netflix has not provided an estimated time for full-service restoration. Users experiencing issues are advised to check the Netflix Help Centre or their internet service provider for updates.
