Pakistan Railways updates train schedule amid fog

Trains for Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and other destinations are operating on their regular timetables

Pakistan Railways on Tuesday announced changes in train timings due to fog, affecting trains departing from Lahore and Faisalabad to various cities, including Karachi, Quetta, and Rawalpindi.

Officials said that the updated train schedule is set to provide passengers a safe travel experience, rather than travelling with risks across Pakistan.

As per the officials, the updated train schedules from Lahore are:

From Lahore

  • Karakoram Express (42-Down) – Karachi
  • Scheduled: 3pm
  • Revised: 4pm (1-hour delay)
  • Pak Business Express (34-Down) – Karachi
  • Scheduled: 4:30 pm
  • Revised: 6:15 pm (1 hour 45 minutes delay)
  • Karachi Express (16-Down) – Karachi
  • Scheduled: 6pm
  • Revised: 7:30 pm (1 hour 30 minutes delay)

From Faisalabad

  • Millat Express (18-Down) – Karachi
  • Scheduled: 5:50 pm
  • Revised: 6:50 pm (1-hour delay)

Despite the fog, all other trains headed for Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and other destinations are operating on their regular timetables, according to Pakistan Railways.
