With only a few hours left for 2024’s first Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, several videos and rumours have been surfacing around on social media hinting towards the specifications of the upcoming Samsung S24 series.

Tech enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the Samsung Unpacked event, which has been also termed as the S24 launch event because the South Korean tech giant will unveil its much-hyped flagship S24 series.

Taking to X (formerly named Twitter), user Arsene Lupin (@MysteryLupin)posted a video offering a first look at the upcoming Galaxy S24 series — which shows that the on-device AI technology is expected to provide real-time translations during calls.

The surfaced video showed a closeup view of AI-based features of the smartphones. Leaks suggest that the upcoming handset appears to come with new AI camera features that allow users to shrink delete, and move objects in a photo.

The feature is simple to use as Samsung users can easily edit the photo by shrinking or enlarging objects and moving them around by drawing a circle around the object.

Samsung's Galaxy AI seems to offer a live translation feature that lets users speak a foreign language on the spot and understand responses. This would assist users in translating conversations while travelling in different countries or interacting with people speaking different languages.

The Galaxy S24 lineup is expected to offer an AI-backed Note Assist feature in Samsung's Notes app. It might also use AI to improve zoom at night and a Google AI feature called Circle to Search.

Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event will start at 11.30 pm IST (1.00 pm EST) on Wednesday, January 17 at the SAP in San Jose, California.
