Sazgar Engineering Works Limited has started pre-booking for the HAVAL H6, its first Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), marking the start of an ambitious endeavour.

The vehicle is expected to be ready for the Pakistani market in August 2025 and will be assembled locally using Complete Knock-Down (CKD) kits.

The company's presence in the rapidly growing electric vehicle market is expected to be strengthened by this innovative action.

Moreover, Sazgar has designated the TANK-500 SUV and the CANNON ALPHA pickup truck as two more PHEV models to be released before the fiscal year ends on March 31, 2026.

The company's dedication to expanding its product line and taking advantage of the rising demand for environmentally friendly transportation options is demonstrated by this calculated move.

The announcement caused Sazgar's share price to immediately soar after it was made through a material disclosure to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

The stock price significantly increased from around Rs1,281.50 at the time of filing to Rs1,317.00, indicating investor faith in the company's progressive approach.

Sazgar Engineering Works was founded in Pakistan in 1991 and has since established a solid reputation for producing and selling cars, auto parts, and electric household appliances.

A major turning point in the company's history is its entry into the hybrid vehicle market, which is being led by the HAVAL H6.

Industry watchers predict a significant impact on Pakistan's automotive scene as Sazgar continues its PHEV initiatives.

The company is expected to redefine the local market and establish a new standard for environmentally friendly transport options thanks to its creative strategy and dedication to technological advancement.
