In an incredible foray to take its in-house web browser onto bigger screens, tech giant Samsung is reportedly expanding Samsung Internet for PC to larger screens with the launch of a beta version.
Samsung's new desktop browser allows users to sync their browsing data across devices, making it easy to access history, bookmarks, and passwords if you’ve always used a Samsung device.
Samsung Internet PC version launched?
Currently, the beta version is available only to users in the U.S. and South Korea who enrol in Samsung’s beta programme. It features an AI-powered “browsing assist” tool that can summarise webpages and translate text.
By simply signing into their Samsung accounts, users can continue browsing sessions across mobile and desktop devices.
This isn’t Samsung’s first attempt at a PC browser; it briefly appeared in the Microsoft Store in 2023. The new version also includes a smart anti-tracking feature that blocks third-party trackers and pop-ups, enhancing user privacy while browsing.
With these updates, Samsung aims to provide a more integrated browsing experience, allowing users to switch between their PC, phone, and tablet effortlessly.
The Samsung Internet for PC browser's availability on Windows machines reflects the company's commitment to enhancing user convenience and connectivity across its devices.
